Meraki Dog Training

My lab and I had our first session with Katy today, and I am so happy to have found her! While we’ve still have quite the journey to go- Katy listened to my concerns and was so understanding. She worked wonderfully with my dog and I and was clear and direct on we needed to do at home and moving forward! I can already tell that my dog and I’s communication is improving! We’re really looking forward to continuing to work with her in the future.

Working with Katy was the best part of our Mondays and probably the best part of the week for my dog. If you have a breed that’s typically misjudged as aggressive, this is the best place for you and them. Our male pitbull had some reactivity issues with other dogs because he was lacking confidence. Because of his breed and size, we couldn’t take the slightest chance of anything happening with another dog or intimidating other owners more than he already did. Thanks to Katy’s patience, advice, problem solving, and encouragement we watched our little buddy grow into a calmer, happier, and safer dog. It’s hard to believe a few months ago I would dread just walking to the car and risk seeing another dog to now being about to walk over a mile, around the neighborhood, loose leash, without a single outburst. Getting to enjoy having him out and about was worth every single minute and penny spent. Not only will she find ways to help improve your dogs behavior, but training with Katy made me feel like a more confident and knowledge dog owner, AND made the relationship between my dog and I stronger. The value that has had on my family and our pups life is unmeasurable and we can’t thank Katy enough for all her time and work with us.
