I would give Melissa and Carlos 100 stars!! Their program was life-changing for us. We adopted our ESS Tuck as a puppy having had an ESS prior to him. Tuck turned out to be a completely different dog who we realized would need proper training. Tuck went to Melissa for the 3 week complete training at 9 months old. We have older cats at home, and the living situation had become extremely tense. We honestly didn't know how we were going to properly incorporate Tuck into our home, given he was so different than our previous ESS. Luckily, we came across Melissa's Happy Dogs and the awesome reviews convinced us to reach out. Best decision we have ever made. Tuck is now 2 yrs old and we cannot imagine our lives without him. He gets along with our older cats as well as all other dogs and people. He's well adjusted to all situations. We always knew he was smart, but Melissa has given us the tools to harness his intelligence into a happy yet obedient member of our family. We are so grateful and recommend her to everyone we can.

We are so pleased with Melissa and Carlos at Melissa’s Happy Dogs. She raises dogs like she does her children. Which was very helpful for translation being I was a pretty consistent mom. I’m just not a consistent dog mom. I’m working on that. My Rose has come home happy and well adjusted. I did have to return some items I had purchased in December from Amazon. Although they were out of the return window, Amazon was great and issued a one time return. You can purchase all these items from Melissa. I loved she went over the tools with us. I’m was afraid of the prong collar and Stim collar. I am not anymore. I did purchase a quick release off Amazon for the prong collar because I have arthritis. It works great. We would recommend Melissa’s Happy Dogs 1000 percent. I only wish we lived closer. We would definitely use her boarding service. Thank you Melissa and Carlos. Melissa turned our wild boy into a well manner pup that we now can safely take to the park, a store or travel with any time we want. We signed him up for her 3 weeks Complete Camp (known at our house as Boot camp). The 3 weeks of him being gone was so hard as we missed him more than anything but Melissa posted videos and photos every few day of his progress. The transformation has been great to see. With all his training we still have our loving silly boy back but now we have much better control of him. Thank you Melissa for spending time with our boy. He only requests you have all the squirrels relocated from the park so he can freely walk without distractions.

This was the first time I have sent a dog to a professional trainer for a two week boarding camp and I’m happy to say that Melissa and her team have exceeded my expectations. My ten month old lab went to Melissa’s facility for two weeks and she learned so much. She is a pleasure to be out and about with on our property and I don’t fear her breaking away from me and getting hurt. I strongly recommend Melissa and her team.
