MCS Dog Training

We rescued a very reactive dog (Great Dane/German Shepherd mix) from the local SPCA about 3 years ago. This dog was very reactive to any door, just pushing and jumping to go out the door. He would literally plow anything over when that door would open. He was also a barker and would bark at anything that moved outside. We have another Great Dane and a smaller dog as well. The rescue had bitten the smaller dog twice, out of reactivity. That's when we called George. George made a very positive impact in our multi-dog household. He taught us how to take control of the issues we were having and how to work with our reactive rescue dog so that we could have calmness and peace in our home once again. You have to be willing to put the work in, but George's approach to training really works!! We still have some work to do as it is a continuous process, but we finally have control of our pack😁

Tanner and I rescued one another in July 2022; he was 6 mths old at the time and had been transported to PA from a high kill shelter in the south. We knew nothing about the 1st 6 months of his life, but based on his high level of reactivity to EVERYTHING, assume it was not good. After trying a group, treat focused training class (not good!), we were referred to George. Tanner responded immediately to George's presence and the instant correct lead. George also addressed Tanner's fetish with paper and paper products. It took Tanner's human more time and practice, but with patience, a second visit with George (and intro to Odin), and a Pack gathering, at 3 years old Tanner is wonderful companion and has shared his experience, knowledge and ICL with the newest member of our pack, Ash.
