MBR Farm Dog Boarding and Training

We've been taking our pup, Sophie, to MBR for a couple months and had great results. Unfortunately in just a few days span our pup had two instances of random aggression and bit two young children. Not full on attacks, but did break the skin. Amy was the first person that I contacted to help me figure out where we had to go from there. She took time out of her personal schedule to give us counsel and explain our options. After the first incident we decided that we would give her to private owners that did not have children and were willing to work with her. That was until the 2nd incident took place. Without hesitation, Amy came and offered her services to foster Sophie and take a deep dive into what was causing the aggression. It was a heartbreaking decision that we had to make but we are extremely grateful for all the advise and time that Amy and her team gave us over the last three days and trust that Sophie is now in safe and capable hands that will lead her on the right path to a safe and happy life.

Update: Amy has contacted me and has offered a few in-home training sessions with a colleague. This is definitely above and beyond! I’ve never questioned her or her team skills, just what was right for my particular dog. In the end it’s very difficult to know, so you have to try, but I greatly appreciate your willingness to help us! I believe in what Amy and her team does, but to be honest, they hardly helped my dog. I sent her for a month and the thing I really needed her to get better with was her reactivity to guests at the front door. The stay and train was the wrong decision for my dog. Definitely need in home training. Expensive mistake! Lesson learned.
