Matty is an exceptional trainer. We brought our Corgi to him for obedience and reactivity training, and the results have been truly remarkable. His professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for both dogs and their owners set him apart. His commitment to ensuring long-term success made all the difference. Our dog has made incredible strides and can now comfortably be around other people and dogs—a complete transformation from when we first started. I cannot say enough good things about Matt! We recently rescued a beautiful and intelligent Rottweiler with no history—and quickly discovered she escaped crates, displayed separation anxiety, & had confidence issues which caused her to display unpredictable (lunging) behavior. I had never worked with a trainer 1:1 and was nervous about how it would go and how she’d react. (She displayed some distrust of men.) Matt met us at our home for the evaluation and took his time. By the second lesson, they were old pals! Fast forward about two months and she’s a different dog- her confidence has increased. She can go on walks, staying in heels, can stay on her placecot for door bells and when inviting company in.( The last thing most people want when they arrive is a large Rottweiler in their face!! ) Draka absolutely loves going to “school”! It’s the highlight of the week. Matt not only helped her , but was so patient in offering guidance to me and my husband. We highly recommend Matty G!

Matt is an AMAZING trainer! He is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. Good trainers that understand not only dog psychology but also the difference between obedience and “tricks” are few and far between. When we brought our cane corso pup home, we knew we needed to build a foundation of obedience with such a strong and stubborn breed. I found Matt on here and after seeing his reviews and some of the videos on his social media platforms, I knew he was the right trainer for our Rocky who was already showing signs of nervousness and dog reactivity. 7 sessions in and I have seen a huge difference in Rocky’s confidence and obedience. I can’t wait to see how much further we can take Rocky’s training and wouldn’t want to work with anyone else but Matt!
