Dear Mr. Wiles, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I sincerely apologize for the issues you’ve raised and want to address your concerns with transparency. Ensuring your dog’s well-being and meeting your expectations are extremely important to me, and I regret that we fell short. I would have preferred to discuss this personally, but despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to reach you. I will do my best to respond here. I care deeply about each client’s and have reviewed Togo’s training with my team. Our records show that we provided multiple updates, including pictures and videos on December 14, 15, 16, 18, 22, 27, 30, and January 2 and 4. Is i? If somehow those were not received, I do apologize. Regarding the flat collar, we ensure dogs are comfortable with prong collars before using them for regular tasks. For bathroom breaks, we used a flat collar to maintain sensitivity and awareness. I also want to assure you that we are highly experienced in preventing leash-related injuries, and I am confident this was not the cause of Togo’s coughing. I understand your concerns about Togo’s early release. Kennel cough is a risk at all boarding facilities, and we take immediate action when symptoms arise. We first isolated Togo for observation, and I personally took him to our vet. While Togo behaved perfectly, the vet could not rule out kennel cough. Prioritizing his health and the safety of other dogs, we made the difficult decision to send him home for further observation. This was not a decision we took lightly. Normally, owners nearby can return their dogs quickly, but I realize the distance made this more complicated, and I sincerely apologize. I also regret any misunderstanding about our phone conversation. While I did not promise a refund after working with Togo for three weeks, we agreed on a return date for further training. I assured you that if any deficiencies were found, we would address them fully. I believed this was understood, and I was later informed that you canceled and requested a refund. I am still available to discuss further but I hope to clarify any concerns here. I understand that Togo’s weight loss worried you. Please know that he was eating well and thriving. Dogs often lean out at our facility due to increased activity and structured feeding. Togo had treadmill runs and constant engagement, which likely contributed to his weight loss. I also acknowledge your concerns about his behavior at the vet. However, we never observed any aggression or concerning behavior during his time with us. Togo was a star here, and we were proud of his progress. I would love the opportunity to discuss what may have caused this change. Despite multiple calls and voicemails, I have not been able to reach you. I regret that we did not meet your expectations and would love the chance to address your concerns directly.
