Maryland Canine Academy

I've only had great experiences with the trainers at Maryland Canine Academy. My dog Nessie and I have completed multiple classes now including scent, agility, manners and public proofing. It's always a positive, non-judgemental, learning experience for both of us and has strengthened our bond. The trainers are so knowledgeable and have an innate sense of dog behavior, and take the time to both teach, and find out what your goals are for you and your dog. I highly recommend checking them out.

We are first-time dog owners after 30+ years of being cat owners. Our puppy is a high-energy, intelligent terrier mix and I was an anxious helicopter dog-mom. I was afraid to introduce him to other dogs which made him behave badly. But after only 2 puppy classes and a one-on-one to address specific issues, we are both dramatically changed for the better. The owner and instructor are brilliant! They know dogs and intimately understand the relationship building that needs to take place between dogs and their parents for both to be happy and healthy. I am so grateful to them and highly recommend this place. They do all kinds of training and I plan to continue with them for whatever will enrich my dog’s life.
