FirstBarkMary D is a fantastic dog trainer. Our 3yr old rescue. dog, JoJo had anxiety and some aggressive behavior towards anyone but us, including other dogs. Mary gave us so much good advice on behavior and training. Jo Jo has now graduated from her first series of private lessons. She is so much happier and relaxed. So are we!

I can not recommend Mary D’s enough!!!! This was the best experience for us and our initially timid rescue girl Maggie. We all learned so much and it was such a pleasant and fun six weeks. Mary is so patient, kind and unbelievably knowledgeable and it was fascinating to watch the dogs in our group respond and learn. We will definitely be back for more training- this was the highlight of every week for Maggie. She loved Mary and was so excited to go each week.

Mary D is a fantastic trainer. I would highly recommend her to anyone. We rescued a dog that was found on the streets. She was wild and out of control. I read many training articles and watched hundreds of YouTube videos, but nothing worked. Mary D came highly recommended from a neighbor. Within the first few classes, you could see a change in our dog. The training provided structure for our dog and a more peaceful household overall.
Mary did a great job helping us with our 1 yr old Golden with one on one Adolescent training. She helped to reinforce skills he’d been exposed to as well as giving us tips for things we were struggling with and teaching us some skills.
Mary is amazing ! Her expertise shined through when working with a young, hyper focused Border Collie. Every lesson my Border Collie pushed Mary as hard as Mary pushed her, and we all learned from one another and completed the goals at hand . Mary is kind and patient, with the dog as well as the owner , and her love for what she does well is apparent. She gets a 10/10 and would highly recommend!
