Mandy's Dog Training - Canine Development Center

My dog and I absolutely love Mandy’s Dog Training and Daycare! We first discovered the space through training, and now my pup goes weekly for daycare — and he couldn’t be happier. He’s a high-energy one-year-old, and this has been the perfect outlet for him. He gets to play with the friends he made during training, burn off energy, and still receive lots of personal attention from Mandy and Anyssa. What I really appreciate is the balance — it’s a fun, active environment but not overwhelming, and the small size means he gets the individual care he needs. His tail is always wagging when we arrive and just as happy when we leave! I’m so thankful we found this wonderful facility. And the bonus? The amazing action shots from Anyssa that let me see just how much fun he’s having!

I can’t say enough good things about Mandy and Anyssa and the hard work they put in to what they love. I have a rescue who needed some training and that is where I met Mandy. They have helped our pup with walks because he is anxious and now Charlie is going to be. regular at daycare and he is boarding for the first time over the holiday. I am so happy for Charlie that he has a place to meet new friends and get the support and socialization he needs!

My 2 year old 75lb labby mix who is normally relatively well-behaved had been acting up on a leash with passersby and barking excessively at the neighbors when they'd come and go. After seeing SOOO many positive reviews for Mandy on the fb Park Ridge Chatter page I filed her name away in my memory banks and when I felt like the time was right I had her come to my home for a session. One session and the reinforcement of the "heel" and "sit" commands had him 75% better immediately. Tested him out when the neighbors (a young woman and her 5 year old daughter who had seemed terrified of him) came home. I handed them treats. Made him sit and they threw him the treats. No barking and no drama! A couple of days later, when they were coming home again, I made him heel and sit off to the side of the sidewalk and they walked by without him making a peep. Then I followed into the yard and asked the little girl if she wanted to tell him to sit. She did. He did, and I praised him and gave him a treat! Smiles all around thanks to Mandy and her amazing skills!!!
