Over the last year, moving across the country twice took a toll on our doodle, Tucker.. He went from being a happy-go-lucky pup to struggling around other dogs. Everywhere I went, I was told he just couldn’t be with other dogs. Then we found MCA. Dalton simply said, “Bring him in. We’ll work with him.”And they did.Today, Tucker is back to his goofy, fun-loving self. A few weeks ago, Tyson had an injury at home that required stitches.Shortly after, I had to board both dogs at MCA while I was out of town. The team took incredible care of him, and when Tyson managed to rip out his stitches, Dalton immediately called me, took him back to the vet, and made sure he was taken care of. I truly can’t say enough about MCA. They genuinely care about every dog that walks through their doors, and their entire team always puts your dog’s well-being first. We are so grateful for them. ❤️🐾

I don't ever spend the time to leave Google reviews, but in this case, I have to. I have three very spoiled German Shepard mixes who haven't been taught good manners or socialized very well, which is entirely my own fault. I began bringing them to Mandeville Canine Academy just about three weeks ago to get them used to the place since they'd be boarding there for a week while I was at a work conference. I saw a fast change in them through their School Report pictures, becoming so much happier and more comfortable around men, other dogs, and new things. When I picked them up on Friday after their week-long stay, I was shocked to see their behavior had improved by multitudes - I don't even know what they did, but it seems like kind of a miracle! This weekend, they got out of the car and didn't run down the street like they usually do; they didn't try to steal food from my daughter while she ate; they didn't jump on the counters; they had improved recall; and they went to my in-laws and instead of being fearful of their dogs, they were happy to play and make new friends! It is pretty amazing, and I can't thank ya'll enough!

Can’t recommend this business enough! Dalton and his staff are Amazing! I brought them a 7 year old high anxiety 70lb pitty that would literally chew through a door when we would leave. And he had zero idea on how to walk on a leash. What I got back after a month was what I can only describe described as a very well-behaved dog. No more anxiety issues. He goes to his crate with no problem. Before he always wanted to be in out bed. He walks like a prince on a leash. Zero pull now. If you have any kind of issues with a dog, I highly recommend Dalton and the whole team @ Mandeville canine Academy

Mandeville Canine Academy offered my foster dog, Doug, free training when he was on the euthanasia list at the shelter. Doug is the sweetest boy, but he was found as a stray and spent more than half of his life in the shelter. Because of this, he had ZERO manners. He would jump on my kitchen table and counters to steal food even with me right there telling him “no”. He would jump on anyone who walked in the front door. He was not potty trained and refused to go outside alone even with a dog door open 24/7 leading to many accidents in the house. If left alone for a second to get the mail or use the bathroom, he’d dig in the trash and have it dispersed all over the kitchen and living room within seconds. He destroyed a couch cushion and completely devoured a chew toy leading to an obstruction which had to be removed via surgery. He bent a metal crate to get out when left alone for an hour. He needed serious work and I genuinely didn’t know how ANYONE could possibly train him. Somehow, Mandeville Canine Academy managed to train him and turn him into a completely different dog. He is still the same loving sweet boy, and now has the best manners as well. He rests calmly in his crate with the door open as his “safe space”. He quickly responds to all of his commands. He doesn’t jump, dig in trash, chew on anything other than his bone, or potty inside. He stays off furniture, walks politely on a leash, and respects boundaries. They gave him confidence and desensitized him to noises and large objects such as strollers and wheelchairs that would scare a dog who hasn’t been exposed. Even though Doug isn’t my dog and wasn’t a paying member, he was treated with the same care. I appreciated his daily “report cards” with numerous photos of him throughout the day and information on what they were working on that week, what tools they used, and how he was progressing. When we picked him up, we received a training session to learn his commands. We received a printed sheet of all of them and “do’s and don’t’s” for how to work with him to ensure his training was enforced and he would continue to be the best boy. They also gave us a picture of him with Santa and two dog treat cookies with piped icing. They also gave him a bath and made him smell so good before we picked him up. I don’t think Doug would have ever made it out of the cycle of being adopted and returned to the shelter due to no one having the ability to handle him prior to training. Now I am certain he will be the best addition to any home. I will always recommend Mandeville Canine Academy and even though I live pretty far away, I will be using them when I decide to have a dog in the future.
