Make Your Dog Epic

We engaged Make Your Dog Epic to help correct some of our older dog's bad habits (especially as our 1-year-old puppy was starting to adopt them). After an in-home assessment, they recommended private training (We had initially looked into board and train). I definitely had a bit of sticker shock, but in hindsight I wish we would have done it much sooner. It's a lot of work, but so worth it. We feel comfortable taking both our dogs with us to places we would have never dreamed because they weren't "good dogs." We have been very happy with our trainer Brennan. He does a good job of keeping us accountable without any judgement. It's been a great process that our whole family has participated in. We are still working with the dogs, phasing out our private sessions, and are attending the group classes whenever we can.

We have been working with Dante since May and have truly felt like he’s made a huge difference in our relationship with our chihuahua, Sunny. We welcomed our second baby in April and had been feeling disconnected from her and very worn having now three little beings that you couldn’t reason with. I truly felt like we weren’t the right fit for Sunny anymore which I never thought I’d experience. Working with Dante is a night and day difference in not only our relationship with her, but her obedience has never been better. We hit the ground running with resource guarding, recall, leash manners, place and barking. We have gotten compliments galore on the difference in her. We chose to go with MYDE because they don’t charge based on a number of lessons and it’s group lessons for her whole life! We live in the salt lake valley and Dante travels to us and group lessons are offered in Liberty Park. Dante is communicative, flexible, patient and a fantastic teacher. I never feel like I’m asking a dumb question and he always explains the “why” of what we are doing. I can’t say enough good things about this training model or Dante as our dog trainer. The value for money is unbeatable and is worth it to have a dog that trusts you. Thank you guys so much
