Majestic Dog Training

I’m so grateful to Brooke for her help with our special needs dog, Marvel. Marvel is partially paralyzed and would feel threatened in our walks (he’s in a stroller) and Brooke has been the best at training both of us on dealing with his behavior. She explains why he reacts the way he does and helps us to distract and curtail his barking. Brooke is so kind and I totally recommend her dog training service.

I can’t express enough how grateful I am for the incredible work that Brooke and Palm Springs Dog Training have done for my dog, Milo. A bit of backstory: Milo is a primarily Pitbull breed who was rescued from the streets after enduring severe abuse. His past is filled with trauma—he suffered skull and eye damage, and he bears scars that will never heal. He was scheduled to be euthanized at the animal shelter. When I first brought Milo to Brooke, she was initially unsure about his ability to be socialized. His pronounced fear manifested in relentless barking at anyone he didn't recognize. However, Brooke agreed to take him on for training, and I will forever be grateful for that. Through her understanding and expertise, Brooke recognized Milo’s intelligence, temperament, and willingness to learn. The transformation she facilitated has been nothing short of miraculous. With her guidance and training, Milo has made remarkable strides in his behavior and interactions, growing more comfortable in the world around him. Thanks to Brooke, Milo is now on the path to becoming a service dog—a major accomplishment that not all dogs achieve! There aren’t enough words in the dictionary to convey my appreciation for Brooke’s dedication and belief in Milo. She has approached his training in a thoughtful and painless way, making the journey enjoyable for both of us. Today, thanks to Brooke, Milo and I are living our best lives together. We had a great experience with Brooke! Our two young dogs Muggsy & Ulla (and their humans) needed some training support on a variety of behaviors including potty training, impulse control, and loose leash walking. Brooke made the whole process easy by having us drop off our pups at her training facility and working with them directly to get a sense of their personalities to tailor suggestions for us based on our pups individual needs. It was nice to have her work with the dogs by herself first so that the pups understood the assignments and then spend time with us humans after the session to do hands on ‘follow the trainer’ training for us to practice at home. What we loved most was how responsive and flexible she was—always willing to adjust and offer support when we needed it, and you could tell the pups felt safe with her. You can tell she truly cares about both the dogs and the humans she’s helping. If you’re looking for a trainer who’s knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely loves what she does, we highly recommend Brooke. Our dogs (and our sanity) are much better thanks to her! I'm impressed. Totally worth the money. Brooke took the time to work with our dog AND us. She gave us the confidence to analyze the behaviors we wanted to change and provide our pup with positive reinforcement to make those changes. We have noticed how our dog responds to us and how much happier we are with him. We are currently practicing the techniques she taught us for other behaviors and it's becoming almost second nature.
