I began with Melinda to try and improve my Aussie's behavior issues. I have continued with Lulu and Izzy, my Mini Aussie, in agility training. Both my dogs have had attention issues with other dogs and manners classes along with field trips helped them as well. Melinda is a patient and very positive trainer. She takes the time to answer my questions and help me in any way she can. She never gets mad at my dogs and also is very encouraging and knowledgeable with training me for agility as well. I would highly recommend Melinda for basic dog training and especially agility. Mary P.

I took my six month old puppy to Melinda Moss at M Squared Dog Training to learn basic obedience and manners. I was very impressed with her skill set and the classes she offered. She was sensitive to both animals and people. She was calm and respectful which helped people feel safe even when the dogs were not cooperating. She also seemed to know exactly what to do to help both the dogs and their handler. I highly recommend her classes for all ages of dogs and handlers.

I began agility classes 5 months ago at M squared because I was 'stuck' and didn't know how to fix holes in the program that I was in. I am so happy to have found Mel. The classes are small (so everyone gets individual time), and Mel is such a patient instructor who gears the training to individual needs. She helps me to bring out the best in my dog - her training methods are very clear and I wish that I had started out with her -- things are making sense to me (in my case, it is the human that needed the training, not the dog 🙂). I have recommended her classes to several friends because she provides clear instruction with positive reinforcement and the lesson time flies by because you are playing fun games with your dog. If/when I get a second dog, I will definitely begin my foundations training with Mel. I've taken group and semi-private Agility classes and attended her 2 hour workshops -- if I was retired, I'd happily take classes from Mel everyday of the week -- that is how much we enjoy it! She has turned me into an "Agility junkie".
