M Pack Dog Training, LLC

My puppy is a 5 month-old Mal/GS mix. Ben is a fantastic dog and I thought I knew a thing or two about dog training, but, after the consultation, I realized I didn't know as much as I thought. I opted for the board and train puppy foundation package. It includes training sessions for the owner as well. My working hours are at the same time as theirs so it was difficult for me to come as I wanted, but they accommodated my schedule. There was so much to learn that I wished I brought a notepad! Ben has much more confidence now! He is still on high alert when he sees a cat or, heaven forbid, somebody committing the "crime" of walking their dog past the house, but he hasn't been reactionary (except for one cat, but he was easily corrected, which hasn't been the case in the past). The trainers take much pride in their work, set high standards for the dogs and they educate the humans on how to maintain those standards. If you have tried everything, like I did, and your dog still thinks they're running the show, it is time to call M Pack. You and your dog will be so glad you did! ***UPDATE*** I took Ben to their beginner protective training program. Ben just had his initial evaluation, definitely want him to go regularly for the actual training. For those who are unfamiliar with this type of training, it does not make dogs more aggressive; it teaches them to discern the difference between a real threat and perceived threat. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for this program too! The trainer/decoy brings such education, intelligence, focus, athleticism, maturity and, yes, bravery to his work. He ensures the space stays safe for everyone including the dogs and himself.

What can I say about Mark, his family and the staff of M Pack that hasn't already been said? I boarded my (spoiled) Luna with M Pack for some hard core training while my wife and I travelled. We came back a month later to find our Luna had learned how to behave herself! Then we were trained on how to keep her good habits. I will say this - I spoke with other trainers who wanted twice as much for half the time. Traveling to Killeen is a bit of an adventure but well worth it. Personally I was put at ease to know the kennel is on the property of the home for close supervision. If you even think your pup, or you, need some training - just go.
