Lucky Paws K9 Training

Getting a new puppy was a lot more work than I thought initially, and training one seemed like an impossible task. I decided to train Bella my Yorkiepoo at 4 months but I didn’t know how or where to go. PetSmart was one of my options but I wanted something a little bit more personal and that’s when I contacted Lucky Paws K9 training. When I first met Rob he was very respectful and kind, he showed up on time and even making sure the day of our session he if he was okay to arrive because he knew I was sick since I was at the hospital due to me being unresponsive. My beautiful Bella now knows how to Sit, lay, stay, place, come when called and is learning little by little how to pick up an item for me like my pouch when I need it. She’s been doing great thus far! Can’t wait till the next training session to show off how well she’s doing.

I lost my dog in a horrible hit and run, and am now looking at getting a puppy so I’m reaching out to trainers to get information. I got a phone call from Alison and she was polite, courteous, but I had to call her back. I called back nearly immediately and a man picked up. I asked to speak to Alison and was informed he could assist me. He had the most disinterested voice “so I uh hear you are getting uh puppy - and uh are looking for uh puppy training” my response was to speak to Alison as I’d already explained exactly what I was looking for in my message and she already seemed to be well aware. His response “we won’t be a good match” and hung up. Worst customer service ever. I have a co-worker who was interested in them as she has a puppy and now she will be looking elsewhere as well.

I can’t recommend this company enough. I’d give 10 stars if I could! I was weary about a board and train for my dog Pepper, as I have never left her anywhere before. Rob and Ali were so accommodating. They let me come and look at their facility, which happens to be their home, and it’s prestine! Clean, well kept and comfortable. They spent over an hour with me answering my questions. I could tell that they really loved animals and that my Pepper would be like part of the family. Rob explained the process and I signed up! My Pepper is like a new dog, and I’m so excited to be able to take her places with me now. They have kept in contact with me, and will be there if I need anymore help. The thing that really got me is when I picked Pepper up, the whole family came and hugged her and said goodbye. This is definitely the place to take your dog. They won’t just train your dog, they will treat your dog like family! Thank you Lucky Paws!
