We were lucky enough to work with Suzanne with our dog Comet and our daughter’s dog Zylo. She is the very best! She patiently worked with us and helped us with the issues we were dealing with. After each training she would send detailed notes on continuing training. She is a kind and compassionate trainer and lover of animals in general and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend her!
I do not recommend paying any money to Lucky Fido Dog Training. They advertise same week appointments but you can only see the schedule once you pay for a full package ($250). I do not recommend paying any money to Lucky Fido Dog Training. They advertise same week appointments but you can only see the schedule once you pay for a full package ($250). When I paid, I found out that they don't have initial appointments for over a month. They also advertise availability on Orcas Island but then told me that I needed to take the very unreliable ferry to Friday Harbor for most appointments which would be difficult for me as well as the anxious dog that we wanted to get help with. Once I realized the challenges, I asked for a refund (I had not taken any classes) and THEY REFUSED! FLAT OUT REFUSED TO REFUND even though they misrepresented their availability. I have no idea if she is a good dog trainer but I do know she is a terrible business person with horrible customer service!
Suzanne is very dedicated to your education and the well-being of her puppy students. Start your pup young and continue for life long learning. It's very rewarding for you and your pup!
Suzanne knows her stuff. We were instantly comfortable with the steps she suggests to take to help our dog behave on leash. She is easy to talk to and contact.
