My dog and I had a very pleasant experience! The facility is very open and newly renovated. Which provides that inviting, warm, and ready to learn feeling when you first walk in! The knowledge that I have gained in just one visit was amazing to me! I am very happy to have a dog trainer in stark county that uses positive reinforcement. That positive reinforcement keeps the dog happy and the dog owner as well (; . Cannot wait for my second visit!

Building and parking were difficult to locate since it was our first time there and there wasn’t a sign. Inside of facility is set up well, owner was nice but instructor was rude and environment was very unwelcoming. Group class seemed very unorganized and did not get a lot of feedback/suggestions for my dog. Instead of having fun it seemed very serious and not at all like a beginner class. $15 charge per accident is also excessive especially when it’s a dog training facility and accidents will likely happen.

My husband and I worked with Shanda when we needed help working on impulse control and a place cue for my 1 year old Whippet. She has excellent knowledge and effective training methods. She also gave us homework so we knew exactly what we had to work on to get the results we wanted. Not only does she provide effective training, she also instills confidence in your own abilities to reinforce the training at home. We felt fully supported every step of the way. If you’re looking for the kind of trainer who respects your pet, understands their individuals needs, and uses proven positive methods, Shanda is the person for the job.
