Jerrid takes his job as a dog trainer very seriously, and I was a little nervous at first because my dog had basically no training other than sitting for his dinner. He is a huge 90 lb shepherd lab mix, with all of the goofiness of a lab but fortunately the intelligence of a GSD. The first day was terrifying, as my dog bucked like a horse at being asked to do something. At that point, I wasn't sure this was the right approach. But instead of backing out, I committed. My dog and I are camping buddies. And my dog (and I) needed help. Six lessons. That's all it took to lay the foundation to carry my dog's training forward. I gained knowledge and confidence, and my dog gained confidence in me as a leader. Our next adventure will be learning how to take him on bike rides, so he can go on the trails with me and my mountain bike when we are camping. I have a great dog here. And I've found a great trainer in Jerrid.

I cannot recommend Loyalty Canine Services more. We did the two week board and train with our 6 month old rescue German Shepherd puppy Dolly. We knew we wanted a well trained dog, especially with having three kids (one of which a toddler). After growing up with dogs with behavioral issues we knew we wanted to invest in a board and train program. After reading about Jarid’s experience and successes we were confident in sending our pup for two weeks. The daily video updates and explanations of what he was working on helped so we were able to begin preparing for her return from day one. Dolly has been home for four days and able to be off leash with 100% confidence in her recall even with people or deer distracting her (remember she’s a 6 month old puppy!!). She’s able to ride in the car with our toddler safely now because we tell her “place” and she stays. We feel confident that Dolly’s life and ours will be safer and more fulfilled due to her board and train! Seeing Dolly’s confidence and pride in knowing how to do what we are asking is one benefit we had not even considered. Ideally we will train Dolly to be a job site dog with to keep her human dad company and maybe an added safety alert in case of a fall. Her board and train have helped us she how much potential she has. We can’t wait to send Dolly to board with Loyalty on vacations or overnight trips.

We reached out to Loyalty Canine for help with our rescue pup, Trixie. When we brought her home, she was absolutely wild, teething, and too overstimulated to listen to us. With each class she got more calm and confident, learning what was expected from each command, and what she could expect from us. Jerrid taught us as much (if not more) than what he taught her.
