LowCountry K9

After seeing the raving reviews for Lowcountry K9, we sent our 11 month old pitbull Winston for training with Jillian. We cannot express enough how amazing the entire staff is. They truly addressed every behavioral concern (dog reactivity, fear, submissive peeing, etc) we had with Winston, and were extremely attentive to the fact that he was a rescue that was extremely sensitive and abused prior to adoption. They work with you on what you can afford and don’t just try to sell you on a board and train for the money. Frank suggested day and train sessions first to get Winston familiar and comfortable to the environment prior to a board and train in order to help his sensitivity and avoid him shutting down. Alex was great at working with Winston during this time. Once Winston was comfortable with day visits there, we did a 15 day board and train with Jillian as his trainer and again, we cannot express enough how amazing the results were. Jasmine sent constant updates even on weekends of how Winston was doing while also spoiling him in the best ways with toys and treats even going above and beyond to give him special ointments/sprays for his skin condition, and Jillian also sent constant video updates surprising us almost every day of Winston’s progress. Jillian truly was a miracle worker for us, as she was extremely kind, patient, dedicated and loving towards our Winston which is exactly what he needed to make progress. The entire staff at Lowcountry K9 will treat your animal as if it was their own and are beyond attentive and understanding to every animals individual needs. I recommend this facility not only to locals, but would recommend even if you don’t live in the area driving to this location as it is worth it. The staff makes it very clear even after your board and train is over that they are still there to help. We send Jillian updates and questions and she always responds so happily with great information to help and offers to do sessions if needed during the adjustment period. As an example to further more drive the point of how great of a bond the trainers establish there, we ran into Alex and Jillian during a training session at downtown and Winston wanted to go home with them! 100% out of 10 recommend.

We boarded our pup there for 10 days while we were traveling for the holidays and Jazz sent pictures and videos the whole stay! They were amazing at keeping us update during our time away. We also did the 20 day board and train with Alex and he did an amazing job! Sent update videos of his training and kept us updated with his progress while he was there. Our pup is doing so well with his training still! Does great on recall and on the leash, as well as his other commands. I would 10000% recommend them for boarding and training!

We can’t thank Alex and his team enough. They helped us with our beloved four year old lab. She is very friendly but was hard to handle. We signed her in for 10 days of training and were amazed at the transformation. She is still the quirky outgoing lab- but now has manners. She is a joy to walk- no more leash pulling! We are enjoying going to restaurants and downtown. We would have never considered taking her before her training. We received daily photos, videos, and texts. He has been great with checking in and following up since she completed her training. We are so grateful!
