Aloha,<br>I would like to respectfully clarify a few points, as this review may not accurately reflect the situation.<br><br>I reviewed our full message history and I had responded to all training related texts and questions, even before we started officially working together. At no point was communication ignored. As for sending over the invoices I do apologize this was not completed after the first session and was sent out the following session. Every invoice is sent directly to your email directly after purchase as well. <br><br>From the beginning, the goals discussed included addressing leash reactivity, resource guarding, aggression, demand barking, impulse control, and leash pulling, not only reactivity.Alongside he also had multiple bite incidents towards family and did not have the ability to have him wear a muzzle. Looking to work through all of this within a four week timeframe is not possible. I was transparent that this level of behavior change is not realistically or ethically achievable in that amount of time through standard private sessions, particularly when a dog is experiencing a high level of stress for years.<br><br>During our sessions, your dog struggled to not bark, safely engage, take food from me and your partner, not resource guard their environment, and tried to bite multiple times. They were unable to take food, engage, or focus around people in and out of the home. Including around myself and your partner. Because of this, the priority became helping your dog feel emotionally regulated and comfortable before attempting behavior modification.<br><br>Due to the severity and consistency of the behaviors observed, I recommended additional support beyond standard private training and connected you with a veterinary behaviorist to explore a more comprehensive plan, including the potential use of medication. These recommendations were made in your dog’s best interest and to help aid in achieving our training goals.<br>I also recommended virtual training sessions so the needed behaviors could be built in a low pressure environment without my physical presence as your dog would bark any time I spoke or moved. Unfortunately and understandably this was not something you wanted to try.<br><br>While I understand your frustration, cases involving multiple behavioral concerns of this nature require time, structure, and specialized support beyond a short private package. My priority is always the safety and wellbeing of the dog and the people involved, and I aim to be honest about what is realistic and in the dog’s best interest. <br><br>I would be more than happy to reconnect, review your training goals, and discuss next steps or appropriate referrals if you’d like to continue support in a way that better fits your dog’s needs.
