I rescued a six month Maltese and while my family had dogs when I was growing up, I was definitely out of my element. I did extensive research on pet trainers in Manhattan and decided to get personal sessions with Love Pup Training. I got six sessions with Corinna and it was worth every penny! Corinna taught me the tools that I need to continue training with my dog even after our sessions have ended. She focuses on positive reinforcement and is always available to answer any questions and concerns. Corinna is extremely patient and knowledgeable. She helped me through my anxieties when I was leaving my dog with a sitter for the first time. It was such a positive experience to see how much my dog loved learning with Corinna. He was always so eager to see her. We miss our training days with Corinna and are considering getting more advanced training once she gets additional certification. I know there are a lot of pet training schools in NYC, but if you’re looking for someone who would be personally invested in the well-being and growth of your fur baby, you’ve found it!

Corinna is a godsend who has truly made ALL the difference in my first time parenting a puppy. I was extremely stressed trying to learn information online and group training classes were too broad to be helpful. Puppy rearing became increasingly daunting until I stumbled onto Corinna's page, a moment I now consider one of my luckiest. Within one session, Corinna eased my anxieties about puppy-parenting, and showed me how easy and fun training can be instead! Warm and thoughtful, Corinna's approach to dog training is focused on bonding, communicating and connecting with the puppy, and boy, do we have a good time! She has made raising my puppy feel easy, and I feel even closer to my puppy because of her. Corinna has spoiled me with how effortlessly she is able to train my puppy, and is always generous with her time, advice and attention. Thoughtful and practical, she always comes prepared with a tailored training plan for her clients. I could go on and on about how great she is, but I think training with her will speak for itself. :)
Corina gave us a great structure to continue with the training with Popcorn our dog. She's pragmatic and patient. Under her guidance and teaching, it almost seem like Popcorn is a perfect dog. I love the extra tips and treats recipes she shared with us as well.
We had Corinna help us about 6 months ago and highly recommend her! She helped me and my partner train our 3yo rescue GSD/husky mix, Pepper. Pepper was a pretty good girl already but Corinna helped us with the basics so we could send a clear message to Pepper. Free consult was super helpful and Corinna said we were good to go after just two sessions.
