Jane is incredible! She helped us find improved ways to communicate with and work with our dog. With her help, we are better at understanding what our dog needs and even the kids have been on board with how they interact with our dog in order to make things more cohesive and positive for all of us. Jane is fantastic at explaining WHY we are doing what we are doing, how the dog interprets us (body language, words, tone, etc), and over just 5 sessions, we have seen a truly amazing improvement. I'm so glad I found Jane. I came to her with my 1.5 year old border collie to work on leash etiquette, reactive behaviors, recall, and general obedience. Jane was such a joy to work with and an excellent trainer. Her training methods are gentle and effective. She is caring and creates a supportive environment for learning. It's obvious she really understands dog behavior. She gave us specific exercises to work on and made the trainings manageable each week. If I had questions between sessions, Jane was willing to chat on the phone to troubleshoot. After 5 weeks working together, I could see a difference in my dog's behavior and felt that we established a deeper connection. I would recommend Jane to anyone who has a dog!
