Love Your Dog

We hired them to socialize our puppy and teach him basic obedience in a two week boarding stay. Our little man came back a perfect gentleman! Guests can’t believe he’s only 5 months old, and we’re able to take him out in public with us - last weekend we had lunch at a dog-friendly place in Antioch, and he stayed under my chair the entire time. There were adult dogs there who weren’t nearly as well-behaved as ours. We’re going to keep having their trainers come on a regular basis so he retains their work and they can keep building on it. He’s only a family dog but we want him to be just as well-behaved as a guide dog. Why not?? He’ll get to go more places and see more things. He’ll be more involved in our lives because we trust he won’t be jumping up onto everyone and nipping at fingers. The trainer who was working with him was awesome. She tried a couple different methods until she found one that clicked with him, and then did the same with us. Their methods made sense to everyone involved and we weren’t made to feel dumb for asking questions.
