FirstBarkA bit too aggressive for dogs who don’t deserve it. I paid the $100 assessment fee and went through the 20 min “interview” but it was more of an interview for me because it deterred me from going with Lori. Might work for some but even that 20 minutes seemed to break my dog’s spirits.

My dog is extremely fearful and nervous, and within minutes Lori had her under control and healing. It’s a long road to build my dog’s confidence, but Lori gave us so many good tips that we’re on our way. She has so much experience and knows the dog’s behavioral needs and points out ways we can redirect her fear. I appreciate all of her experience and help.

I had the pleasure of working with Amy in two separate training groups to help me become a strong leader for my 13 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback. Amy is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely wants to empower owners so they are able to have a relationship with their dog that is built on trust and security. She is very approachable and always encouraged me to bring up any problem areas so we can work through them together. As an empath, I struggle with taking an assertive position but Amy always explained the reasoning behind the training technique and provided reassurance throughout the process.

This review has to be written for about 6 years ago. I never forget that terrible experience and what Lori done to my dog with her cruel “method”. We had a long journey with my dog since then and luckily found a professional trainer after Lori Hamilton nearly ruined my dog spirit and mental health. After I learned a lot about dog’s behavior I started to understand that damage what Lori did to my dog. She was cruel, she physically and emotionally hurt my dog, she made my dog fearful, anxious and hyper reactive. I just want to warn people about her training method. This is damaging and cruel. Just run.
