Lori Hamilton Dog Training

We have had the opportunity and pleasure of having two of our Standard Poodles trained by Lori Hamilton and she was phenomenal! Not only did she train our dogs, she required us to be trained also. She taught our dogs and us how to live a life wherein we could go out in public and feel confident our dogs would listen and obey our commands. Lori is always only a text or call away and always there to help when needed. Her fee charged is worth its weight in gold. Lori trustworthy, talented, knowledgeable, professional and totally committed to helping dogs and their owners live the lives they deserve. There are not enough words or time to express just how awesome Lori is or how valuable and important her training is. Our dogs LOVE Lori and if that doesn't give you the whole picture , u and your beloved dog need to experience it yourself !

We took our dog (10month old puppy) to group training with Lori Hamilton, which we knew would be a basic class. Lori and her staff were friendly with us and the dogs, and treated them with respect and love. We learned so much during the 6 sessions, and our dog is limited only by the effort we put in. we now have the tools and techniques to work with him and create a better behaved, calm and loving dog. Lori is very observant to the dog's actions, and in loving but firm ways has them being that calm obedient pup. We have taken simple instructions and applied them with excellent results. We will be taking further sessions with Lori to further our knowledge, and to help our dog become that calm and confident pup that anyone will enjoy, and not just for his cuteness! Strongly reccomend even the group "kindergarden" class and the follow on classes!

If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and effective dog trainer that educates and empowers owners to foster a strong, healthy relationship with their dogs look no further. Lori's approach is professional and her techniques are effective. Unlike other trainers I've used she remained available to me long after and as I continued training from home. My experience has been nothing short of amazing and I am incredibly grateful for the positive impact Lori has had on my dogs; transforming them into well-behaved, well-adjusted, happy poodles that I can proudly take everywhere. Lori has trained two of my dogs and they remain well-trained several years later. I will be sending my newest to her shortly. I happily make the drive all the way from Long Beach because Lori's training is worth every mile.

Lori did an excellent job training our dog Stewie, a rescue that only knew life on the streets. After evaluating him during the first session, Lori recommended several private lessons and a two week "board and train" so Stewie could develop confidence and skills. Within a few short months, she took a dog, that was in constant reactive mode, gave him love and training, and enabled him to be a dog with confidence and skills. He no longer barks at people and he is not in a constant state of distress. Formerly a flight risk, he is able to walk off leash and most importantly, he no longer views the world as a threat. Simultaneously, she has taught our family the skills needed to communicate effectively and continue training to enable his confidence building. It's pretty incredible to see the transformation in Stewie - what a gift!

I worked with Danielle about a year ago. We love her!!!! Since then I have referred several friends to Lori Hamilton’s Dog trainers. They are fabulous. The training is also for us humans, learning how dogs think, and how to correct unwanted behaviors. Reading some of these reviews, I think people have a hard time being corrected. Lori is extremely direct, and has no problem going into depth on what you are doing wrong and isn’t going to sugar coat it. We have a sweet well mannered cattle dog now. Thank you Danille!
