I highly recommend James! He helped me with my very stubborn and anti social dog. She is wonderful with our family, but wouldn't let friends in the house! With James guidance and gentle instruction, we can have friends in and can walk through the park without lunging at other dogs.

We have two dogs who were reactive on leash — every walk felt like a stress test. We dreaded passing other dogs, and the pulling and barking was exhausting and embarrassing. James at Longmont Dog Training completely changed that. He was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to help us understand why our dogs were behaving the way they were. More importantly, he gave us practical techniques we could actually use in the moment — and practice consistently. The results have been remarkable. Both dogs are calmer on leash, and we can now take them out without dreading every encounter. We feel confident and in control, which the dogs can sense too. Now he has much better control on walks and at the dog park. He even goes up to strangers for pets and scratches now. My chihuahua mix could be reactive toward people, but now does better when he feels scared. I’d highly recommend James to train your dog to become a happy confident dog!
James has a beautiful way with dogs that make them want to respond. Highly recommended!
