FirstBarkOur dog Bear went in for the 4 week board and train. We can't say enough good things about the owners and staff. We got progress videos every Saturday and Wednesday, which really put our minds at ease. Not only could we see the progress, we could see Bear was visibly happy. You can trust your baby with Lone Star State K9, they are all amazing, and we highly recommend them.

My dog, Laohei, went through a board and train program with Lone Star State K9 LLC, and overall it was an amazing experience. He had been dealing with aggression and obedience issues that I wasn’t able to effectively manage by myself. The trainers were professional, patient, and clearly experienced. They took the time to understand my dog and adjusted the training approach accordingly. The training program was very well structured, and one thing I really appreciated was the video updates twice a week. It was helpful to consistently see my dog’s progress and understand what was being worked on each week. At the end of the program, we also had an exit session where the trainer worked with both me and my dog, which was really valuable in helping me understand how to continue the training at home. After the training program, my dog is much more manageable now, and I feel a lot more confident handling different situations. Overall, I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for effective and professional dog training.
We chose the 6-week board and train program, and while it was a tough decision at first (it honestly felt like dropping off our child for 6 weeks), it paid off 100%. The transformation in Sophie has been incredible. Lone Star K9 is truly passionate about helping both dogs and their owners succeed, and it shows in every part of their program. We are beyond grateful and highly recommend!
I highly recommend Lone Star State K9! Best decision we have ever made for our 2yr old Dutch Shepherd Loki to help him with his behavior. It was such a great experience since the start, from the weekly videos updates and cute pics they kept us up to date with his training and I was very impressed to see how well he was responding to their program. Shiloh and LSSK9 crew are amazing!
Shiloh and Dakota watched over our 9-week old puppy for an entire week. He was so happy and comfortable being there, when we returned, we weren’t sure if he wanted to come back with us. We will definitely be using their services in the future.
