I took my Golden Retriever Journey to Trusted Companion to get a bath and her nails clipped. I was so impressed by the staff's professionalism and caring attitude. They genuinely love and treat all the dogs with kindness. My dog looked great when I picked her up, and I knew she had a great time when I saw that great big cheesy grin on Facebook—a pic they snapped when she was done with her grooming. I would HIGHLY recommend Trusted Companion Grooming for people who want the best for their pups!

I highly recommend Travis at Trusted Companion as a trainer! He is the best! At the consultation he had my dog sit, down and come. In 2 lessons he had my dog walking - heeling- nicely beside us. At the 4th lesson he was obeying all the commands without a leash! EVERYBODY has noticed what a calm & obedient dog he is! Our postal lady has asked and been given his contact info! FedEx and UPS no longer fear for their lives😁. He loves dogs and it shows! He always plays with them at the end of the lesson! My dog loves him and can’t wait to greet him. But he waits for his FREE command! Thank you so much Travis for helping us be good dog parents!

I highly Recommend Travis! I had wonderful success with Travis and his dog training program. I took the puppy training as soon as my dog was old enough. Travis was patient and caring, yet professional and firm when teaching both my dog, Ryder, and me. He explained the why and the how of using commands and gently corrected me, always with kindness and encouragement, when I made mistakes. He was caring and consistent when teaching Ryder. We graduated the program and Travis left us with a manual to keep up with training. Ryder is now 4 years old and with my continued command practice we can take him anywhere with us - on the trail or on a restaurant patio - without reactivity to other dogs and people. He stays in “place” on his bed at home and anywhere I use that command, he walks off leash in a heal, sits when I stop, and will stay in place when I walk a distance from him and will run straight to me and sit at attention when released from the stay. He does show some reactivity when someone comes to the door but I have the knowledge and commands to continue working with Ryder. We also use Trusted Companion boarding and Ryder always returns home happy and calm (not anxious and stressed out like with other boarding facilities). I can see he has been loved on and cared for while staying with Trusted Companion. Trusted Companion is the perfect description of how we feel about our Ryder and about Travis’ training and boarding. We can trust Ryder to behave and follow commands in public and at home and we will only trust Travis and his sweet staff in caring for Ryder when boarding him while we travel.
