Lone Star Dog Training and Care

Dolly spent 2 weeks with Sergey, Ava (Frenchie AKA new BFF), and Austin (first feline friend). We received updates on Dolly nearly every day and saw her progress. Fast forward to day 14 and WOW, what a difference. She showed us that the training actually worked! Albeit, we have to continue the training drills consistently moving forward and commit to working with her to keep her focused and naturally do all of the things she learned over the last 2 weeks. We met Sergey and Dolly in a public park with many distractions such as group of girls playing double-dutch, random joggers, families, honking car horns, etc. and Dolly was as cool as a cucumber. We were able to see Dolly confidently demonstrate everything she learned out in the open. She came back a completely different dog (in the greatest way) and we look forward to keeping the momentum going. We can’t thank Sergey enough for his professionalism, dedication, and passion to train dogs from all over Texas. We highly recommend his services and would confidently refer anyone in need of training (human AND dog) to reach out to Sergey. He knows what he’s doing.

French bulldogs are a special breed and NOT everyone understands them. One minute they are cute and calmed, and the next they are psychos. My frenchie was in need of obedience training. He also has separation anxiety. I had tried everything and I mean everything ( including group classes that were a joke). I was looking for individualized training when I came across Sergey’s page. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and decided to reach out to him because he himself had a frenchie of his own. What she was doing was incredible. It gave me hope. In just a few days of training with Sergey, I started to see a lot of progress. And let’s be honest, Luke has more training to do (and so do we) but Sergey has given us the tools to succeed. He was patient and loving towards our Frenchie during his training and I highly recommend him. He is THE BEST!!

I am almost in disbelief that I was lucky enough to come across Sergey’s Instagram on my “for you page.” I had been researching professional dog trainers for a few months for my little Frenchie girl, but everything was in packages and so expensive, not to mention no video examples of dogs in/out of training. One day I was scrolling and saw this cute little Frenchie doing commands while her owners BACK WAS TURNED AWAY! Immediately I went to the page, which was Lone Star Dog Training, and started scrolling through Sergey’s page and was amazed at the obedience and talents of his French bulldog, Ava. The stars couldn’t have aligned more to find out that he was actually located in Austin, Texas AND he was taking new clients. Partnering with Sergey was the best thing I could have ever done for my girl and I’d do it a million times over! Sergey is knowledgeable, kind, loving, and fun! We are on our way to being CGC Certified, Service Animal Certified, and also just some fun tricks like “back” and “forward”. I look forward to continuing our learning and friendship 😊

When we first rescued Desna, we were told she had very little training in the first year of her life. Her heart was in the right place but you could tell she was confused about commands. Admittedly, my limited experience wasn't helping us to communicate either. From the very first session, Sergey taught us both so much. It is like things clicked for us both and thanks to him, I can understand Desna's thinking a little better. And let's face it, it is mostly me in need of training, not the dog. Thanks to Sergey's professionalism and guidance, I am able to be more consistent and aware of what I am trying to communicate to Desna. I am so truly grateful we made the call to Lone Star.

I have worked with Sergey at Lone Star for both one on one training and board and train service (on short notice). It has made a world of difference in my new rescue dog and is a great value for the money. He worked out a personalized plan, had diet and treat suggestions, and even had follow up notes and homework.
