Logically Canine: Dog Training & Dog Boarding

We love Logically Canine. Kelsey and her team are very timely in contact and Gryff loves to hang out with his friends when he goes. We have done short 1-2 night stays and as many as 9-10 days and he is so happy with his Pack. She offers services at the end of his stay ( a nice bath) and nail trims and we take advantage of that each time. It’s important for our boy to be with people he trusts and we trust. We are lucky to have found a few that our people so Gryff can be with his people Highly recommend!

My husband and I now mark time with our two small dogs as “before Kelsey” and “after Kelsey”. “Before Kelsey” we had given up on the life style that we had hoped to have when we added two cockapoos to our family. One is now 7-years-old and the other is 5-years-old. We have always had big dogs, but as we are aging, we had hoped that their size would make them more manageable especially as they age as well, and that we would easily pop them in the car to take them on day and weekend trips, walks on trails, etc. Unfortunately, their reactive nature in public settings, that we were unable to control, got to the point that we stopped taking them out at all. For years outdoor activities were confined to our fenced yard. Until one day we relocated and no longer had a fenced in yard. We rented in a dog-friendly apartment complex for one-year while we remodeled a home. This is when the nightmare really began. We now had to leash walk the dogs morning, noon and night. We had hoped that maybe in time and avoiding other dogs as best we could, etc. we could bare it for a year. It turned out to be just a terrible experience for all of us! The dogs were confused by our frustration and our embarrassment adding to their reactive behavior. Today, “after Kelsey” we walk our dogs in public every day and sometimes people make comments to us about our well-behaved our dogs! We can walk them in safe leash-free areas without worrying that we will be unable to control them in the presence of other dogs, people, or prey. It’s really crazy how much more pleasant life is now. All four us are so much happier. Now we find ourselves noticing other reactive dogs and remembering when. If you are having reactivity issues or behavior problems with your dog, Kelsey is your solution. She truly gets it and knows “her” dogs - large and small. And she will teach you to know and connect better with yours too. Her training techniques are easy to follow and just make sense. Her energy is so calming. She is confident and very supportive - from the interview, through the decision making process, the training, of course (both before and after). Kelsey is with you every step of the way. Logically Canine is a business, but it’s so much more than that. It is a relationship that goes beyond training. I NEVER boarded any of my dogs “before Kelsey.” The girls, as Kelsey and Cody call them, now board at their home whenever we need pet care. There is no doubt that taking this step is an investment - an emotional one and a financial one. For us, it was a lot of money. But every penny was earned and so worth it! My husband and I do not hesitate to recommend Logically Canine’s board and train program. Do it.

We sent our German Shepherd, Max, to Kelsey for her three-week board and train program, and the results were incredible! Kelsey worked with him daily, and he came home with so many new skills. We're now able to take him with us on trips, and have him listen while we're out. I really appreciate it Kelseys personalized approach. She genuinely knows Max, so when I ask for advice, her guidance is spot on because she understands his specific needs and personality. I also really appreciate how Kelsey trains me on how to be effective when I'm out training with Max. Learning how to continue Max's training myself has been invaluable since he completed the program. Kelsey is passionate, knowledgeable, and treats every dog as her own. I highly recommend her services!
