Live Oak Dog Obedience Utah

I bought my German Shepherd dog at 8 weeks. He is now 15 months. He was a difficult pup from the begining. I have owned dogs all my life but his personality and aggressive tantrums were out of my experience and ability. Live Oak was recommended to me. It was my last hope before rehoaming him. Jan was fantastic. She worked with me and my dog on several of our issues. By the end of our session I was encouraged and more confident. It has only been 2 days, but I am doing the work as Jan taught me and it is going well. He is calmer and more obedient. I highly recommend Live Oak Dog Training to any one. Thank you Jan.

My dog, Cooper, was a Covid puppy and really struggled with reactivity. Through working with Jan, he and I both have been able to learn and grow so much. It’s been quite the journey but Cooper and I have both worked so hard to be the team we are today. He now is able to go with me to pet-friendly stores, camping, and even sports games. I took Cooper to his first professional baseball game last week for the Idaho Falls Chukars “bark in the park” night. He did so well. I wouldn’t be where I’m at today without Jan’s help training both Cooper and myself. I wish I lived closer so that I could still attend classes. Thanks for all you do Jan!!!

Jan is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about your dog's success. She takes the time to explain the underlying reasons behind dog behaviors. She gives individual instruction and advice to each client and furry friend to help them with specific behaviors. Jan has taught me how to communicate effectively to Molly. Group lessons are fun, we all learn together! There is always something new and stimulating to learn at each class. I brought my 4 year old pup to Jan to help her with anxiety and obedience training. Jan is very knowledgeable about how to work with dogs without using treats to get them to perform. She teaches you how to read your dog so you can better work with them and help them succeed. Her style is very open and adaptive to each individual dogs needs. My dog has 1,000% improved in her obedience and confidence. Our walks are enjoyable now because she doesn't pull on the leash and isn’t afraid like she was before. She just went on her first flight and handled it like a boss! I also appreciate Jan’s pricing for training. She is affordable and fair.
