Limitless Canines

Ashley and her team are amazing. We have taken two dogs to her over the years. Both rescues from BARCS. My current dog came with severe trauma from when he was seized out of Baltimore. When we first got him he had really bad social and separation anxiety. Ashley has put so much time and effort into him that he was able to get to the point of getting his canine good citizen certificate. If you are at fort Meade and looking for a trainer that will put in as much effort into your dog as you do, look no further. We spent months looking for a trainer in the area that was effective without taking away a dogs personality. The crew at limitless canines focuses on building the relationship between the dog and owner to the point where the dog wants to work for you. Seeing the confidence and obedience that was instilled in my dog at limitless canines has ensured I will never use another trainer.

From the months I’ve spent working with and observing Ashley I can attest to her skill as a dog trainer. On the first day that she handled my dog, I was instantly able to see how much more he was capable of than I had previously imagined. She is always determined to do everything she can for the dog in front of her, and will go out of her way to change tactics based on what a certain dog needs. She is consistently doing her own research and consulting with other trainers to broaden her knowledge, which has made me confident that her advice comes from a place of expertise and up-to-date knowledge.

Words cannot explain how grateful we are to Ashley and her team for their dedication and training! We adopted a puppy at the beginning of the year and she was such a handful. Ashley is amazing with her and have given my husband and I so much confidence in our training and practicing with our pupper. Our relationship with our pup has developed so much! We learned together and we definitely would not have the relationship with our girl without all the hard work of Ashley's team, her expertise and the confidence she's given is. I cannot thank them enough and always look forward to our training sessions.

Please read full review: We have had our dog for 7 years and just had our first child. Our dog did not appreciate the new focus of our attention and became jealous. We chose this company for training because of the good reviews. Our initial meeting was with Sean, who is fantastic. The next session, we had Ashley (the owner). She was unprofessional, and abrasive. We were initially willing to look the other way, however during a training session with Ashley, she dragged our dog against the lead on pavement. She simply stated “he knows how to make the discomfort stop”. He was limping for several days after this session. Fast forward to our 5th session (which lasted 15 minutes), and she “corrected'' him quite abruptly, the second time, she “corrected” him so hard, he pooped himself. We asked her to take it easy to which she replied “excuse me”? I asked her to take it easy on him, as he’s an older dog, and was limping for several days after our last training session. Her response was where everything went south. She stated that she’s an expert, and has been training dogs for years, and we were going to have to reschedule. After a brief pause, she stated: “You know what, I’m just going to have to recommend another trainer for you”, and proceeded to show us the door. All because we asked her to take it easy on an older dog. We understand that dogs need corrections, however when a dog is limping from training, and then soils himself from a “correction” we had to draw the line. We would have still been willing to work with her, but after that response to what should have been a simple conversation, we knew any attempt at moving forward would be futile. After making an attempt to cut our losses, paying $2000, and only receiving 4 and a quarter training sessions, the owner refused to issue a refund stating that after half or more sessions had been given, that no refunds were issued. We're out the money, and never actually achieved what we set out to accomplish from the beginning. I seriously advise you to think twice before choosing this establishment.
