Liberty K9

We highly recommend Liberty K9. We took our young, highly reactive and untrained rescue dog to Dakota and weren’t sure what to expect but lo and behold he’s come out of training miles ahead of when we brought him. Dakota had our dog calmly sitting and staying put out in public and walking nicely around on a leash. Neither were things we could have imagined our dog doing. Dakota also trains the owners so we can return home with our dog and know how to continue on with the training and keep that good behavior going. Last thing I will say is that our dog clearly bonded to Dakota and I’m sure was sad to leave him. We can tell our dog was treated with love and kindness at Liberty K9.

Absolutely thrilled with our experience with Liberty K9! Dakota is incredibly knowledgeable and patient, making the whole process from start to finish, an enjoyable experience for us and our boy - Charlie. Charlie completed the 14 day stay training program. We saw noticeable improvements in his behavior and obedience. Dakota sent daily pictures and video with Charlie’s progess. He made sure we understood everything when Charlie went home to continue the training Charlie had learned. I highly recommend Liberty K9 to anyone looking for dog training.

Liberty K9 is the absolute best! We wanted to get a head start on training and began taking our golden retriever to Dakota for puppy training at 9 weeks old. Along with Lily learning her commands- duration sit, down, place, here, and heel, Dakota individualized our training to help us overcome challenges that come with any puppy. The difference in Lily before and after training is night and day and we are so incredibly thankful! Lily has made a lifelong friend in Dakota and we wouldn’t trust anyone else with her or our future pups for training. We will also continue going to Liberty K9 to bathe Lily, and it will be a fun excuse for her to see her favorite person!
