FirstBarkI am very happy I found John to train my puppy. I have a havapoo that I took to John for a week and Milo came back a different dog ( in the best way). I was a little nervous to send my puppy for a week but everyday John texted with updates and videos and I could see his progress with every session! Highly highly recommend John for any of your puppy training needs!

I have over 30 years experience with dog ownership and training. I got interested in dog training in1972. I have worked with and trained protection dogs, service dogs and family dogs. All of my training is done at my private training studio located behind my home in Lexington South Carolina .I only allow one dog in my training program at a time so that I make sure I give you and your dog the best training results possible.

John was so helpful getting my Gracie ready to be a service dog. He also taught me how to maintain the training. He was patient and very professional. He also taught me about raw food and how it benefits the dog. When I can, I want him to keep her and train her fully. I recommend this trainer without reservation. Thank you so much John!

Do you want your dog trained the right way? If so, John @ Lexington Dogs is who you put your dog in training with. Having grown up around dogs myself, I was searching for the right trainer. I interviewed and spoke with many trainers as I knew this task was going to be one that only an expert could take on. My dog is a full blooded GSP rescue that was abused by a man. We knew this would be an obstacle but John was able to earn her trust. He is gentle and kind. He loves dogs and he loves working with dogs. He is an expert at training. In a very short time, he has her dialed in off leash. If you know anything about GSPs, they love to run and being a bird dog many times they pick up a scent and take off. He has her returning immediately. She has also learned to heel and place and so many other things. I now have a very obedient dog. I feel confident walking her off leash He also trained me(which is expected too) as this is always necessary when a dog is in training. When I say trained me, I simply mean he has educated me on how to continue successfully owning an obedient companion . I highly recommend John as a trainer! I would not consider taking my dog anywhere else. I will continue to use him in the future for advanced training.
We had such a great experience with Lexington Dogs! John was amazing with our new puppy and took the time to teach us how to keep all his training up at home! We loved the daily updates and communication!
This is an exceptional training facility and staff! John took my wild and crazy Irish doodle to a new level with her training. She is settled and confident and happy! We are so happy with her progress we will use them again to continue her training. Thanks for everything John!
