My family wanted a dog, and we wanted a Rottweiler. We found a random rottweiler on Craigslist and brought home a 6-week-old rottie puppy that we all instantly fell in love with. The problem was, we didn't have a clue about his lineage or what condition he was kept in. He was dirty and his recently cut off tail was most likely infected. He didn't come with papers, which we didn't care about, but what we did care about was the risk that came with having a rottweiler in our home with our 9-year-old son. Kingston Phoenix had quirks and was unreliable. It soon turned into a lot of stress in our home. He was starting to get more aggressive, didn't listen and was a bull in a China shop. Levels K9 came recommended to us by our neighbors. They took their very impressive dog to Erik and we knew we wanted our dog to have the same boundaries and listen first time manners. Truly, it's impressive. Kingston was with Levels K9 for just over 7 weeks, although he was ready by 6 weeks. We decided to do more in depth off leash training. We are beyond impressed with Erik, his crew and the entire establishment. We have learned so much, mostly a dog is the product of his owners and his environment. This is key in owning any dog, but especially a Rottweiler. They are a lot of dog and require boundaries. We took Kingston on a walk last night that was peaceful and enjoyable. We are no longer being pulled and controlled by this big boy. We are still acclimating but have no doubt we will all live in harmony for the rest of his years. Recently had my 6-month-old puppy with Erik and his team for a 4-week board and train. She has all of the personality traits to be a good dog when she matures, but she really needed some manners and a foundation that would help her become the family companion I want her to be. From intake consultation to the very end, his team is responsive, communicative, and so caring. They sent photos and videos of her while she was in their care and when it came time to teach me, as her owner, how to take over and maintain her progress, Erik was so patient and helpful. My puppy and I both learned new skill sets and I am able to manage her energy, appropriately address day to day "puppy" issues, and most of all, enjoy her! 10/10 recommend Erik and his team at Levels K9.

Erik and the Levels K9 team are just amazing. I came to them with (2) 12 week old Husky pups who were so tightly bonded that the family was just white noise to them. The pups could have cared less about their human people, other than at meal time! Three vets and several dog trainer consultations later, everyone told me the only option was to re-home one. Erik and Wanda made me believe there was another option. Finding the individual connection with each pup and a way to communicate. Today, the pups are thriving. Erik, Wanda, Jenn and Abigail did such fantastic work with both Kaya and Kodiak. Each dog became their own personal best and functioned independently of each other. Both pups are very well behaved and despite the husky “stubbornness” follow commands and can be taken in public. If you are in need of a team to work with you and your fur family, AND will be honest, compassionate and truly care about everyones wellbeing, then choose Erik and the Levels K9 team. They have become family to not only us but the pups as well. These people are very special and I have no doubt that in the future if we have a need, Levels K9 will support and help us find harmony with our dogs.

I took my reactive 2 year old rescue dog to Levels K9 because we couldn’t go anywhere without him showing aggression by growling and lunging at other dogs, bikers, joggers, etc. We had previously tried a different training company that didn’t work and I didn’t know where to start with training a dog that had such high reactivity. This board and train was my last resort, I was desperate. My dog went for 5 weeks and has come back 100 times better! Erik and his team used positive reinforcement to help build my dogs confidence and communication skills. My dog now follows commands instantly and is less anxious because we have good communication. They laid a great foundation that is easy for me to follow and continue training my dog so that he retains all of the new skills he learned. Our dog has even been gentle and accepting of a new dog we brought into our family! After training ended, Erik has been very attentive in making sure to answer any questions and checking in on us. I couldn’t be happier with the dog training we received.
