Legion Dog Training

We adopted Tango from the SPCA in November 2022. He was about 6 months old and had been adopted and returned before we adopted him. I’d made some progress on his manners over the first year we had him but not nearly enough, an he did not respond to group training at all. He was still jumping up on people, ignoring us when he was outside, and barking too much at people when they’d come over to visit. So after some research and recommendations from my doggy day care, I reached out to Casey for the one on one training our pup needed. Casey not only met with us and observed Tango’s behavior, our interaction with him, and gave us a rundown of what his program would look like, he also experimented with different foods to make sure he was excited and responsive to it, different leashes that would fit his neck for proper training responses, and he sent us progress videos during the time he had him. Casey really helped us realize how we needed to work with Tango to keep him engaged, but also to make sure he knows we’re the ones in charge. It was a great experience and Casey has checked in on us since having Tango back home to see how it’s going. It’s great having the additional support. It truly is a customized experience for each dog, and I think that’s what made such a difference for our dog.

I am excited to write this review for Legion Dog Training because we had the BEST experience! We got a Bernadoodle puppy a little over a year ago and he came with more energy than we knew how to handle. Casey /Legion dog training worked miracles with Charlie. It was absolutely fascinating to see the transition. Charlie gets excited every time he gets out of the car and sees Casey because he loves him so much. We also use Legion Dog Training for boarding and again the experience is top notch! Casey truly loves what he does and loves animals. He’s very passionate about his work and puts his heart and soul into his training. Our Bernadoodle, is a changed dog because of Legion Dog Training so it’s easy to highly recommend Casey and Legion!!

Great trainer and knowledge! You can really tell he understands and is passionate in what he does. Definitely knows his stuff. He completely turned my dog around for the best. He even provides owner education classes so you can do your homework as well and keep up the great progress. Don’t skip out on your homework though, it’s very important you continue the structured care after training! Book now, he’s usually booked out months in advance and there’s a reason for that!
