Legacy Canine Training

Cannot say enough good things about Rebecca!!!!! Literally brought home a different puppy behavior wise!!!! Miracle worker!!!!! Brought my four month old puppy home and breeder told us she was potty and crate trained; she was not. Puppy was barking excessively in the crate, resource guarding, escaping the playpen, separation anxiety, lots of accidents in the house, would not listen or respond to basic commands. In exhausted desperation, I reached out to Bandana board and train and after multiple contact attempts and never ever (still have not!) gotten a response, I kept looking. Happened upon Rebecca on Google. Called her a few mins before her closing hours and left a voicemail explaining my interest in board and train. She literally called me back the next morning! Was super duper accommodating with schedule. Talked on the phone to me, then to me and my husband before he and I made the decision to go with Rebecca. I offered to pay the deposit prior to the second phone call, to secure my puppy’s spot, but she said, no worries. Let’s have the discussion with your husband before any money exchange. She thoroughly explained the plan, what we wanted her to work on, our fears, stresses, doubts, exhaustion with this crazy piranha puppy. Rebecca had one spot left for her July board and train! Got our lil pup in within less than a week from first contact to dropping her off. Met at the classroom for drop off and talked thoroughly to my husband and I about expectations and our needs. She does not allow visits during board and train as there is the possibility of regression. We originally wanted to go for the three week due to our girl having potty training accidents, but ultimately decided to go with the two weeks. 100 million times worth it!!!!! I was a bit surprised and would have thought there would be more text updates throughout the two weeks. But Rebecca would answer eventually and no mind, because she clearly was too busy doing the training work so no need or worry! I cannot even tell you. Literally like a miracle. Our pup is like a new dog!!!! Rebecca spent a while with me in the classroom at pick up going over everything, doing some demonstrations, giving tips and tricks, advice and expectations (including that when they reach adolescence, expect some regression, as the pup brain changes). She was extra kind and caring; didn’t mind that our poor baby got car sick in her car. Flexible schedule wise. Loved on our pup. Gave us info for a groomer if needed (same building) but no pressure. Gave suggestions for specific service dog tailored trainer if needed for the future, admitting that she is not a SD trainer, and this other lady would be more tailored for laying that groundwork. So definitely not just greedy and lying to say she could do service dog training to keep the business with herself. Super honest and caring. Had forgotten some supplies at her house (bed and scoop) and promptly got them back to me, even meeting me at my work that same day to return them! And offered suggestions on a new harness and showed me how to work said harness. And again, our pup is like a new dog. Rebecca taught her place, reinforced sit, come, taught her stay, down, leave it, potty and crate. Our pup is of course still a pup, but her commands are sooooooooo much better now. She’s high energy and yet Rebecca channeled that energy. She does not resource guard. She does not gobble her food anymore. Idk what Rebecca did, but she’s a miracle worker. 100000/10. Call her now. I promise, you won’t regret it!!!!
