Legacy Canine Training

I adopted my dog from PACC in November and found Rebecca shortly after. I started with a private session which led me to take 2 of Rebecca’s group classes. Now I’m continuing with her pack walks to keep my dog socialized and practicing what we learned. My dog has learned and progressed so much since the first session. Rebecca meets each dog/owner where they are at and demonstrates the training in a way that is effective for each individual dog. As a young dog owner I was not thrilled about paying for training but now I know it is a fair price for what I/my dog has gained from it. Rebecca is very nice, professional and knowledgeable. She is always rooting for your dog’s success and will make sure your dog ends class on a good note. I would highly encourage anyone to choose Start Pawsitive for their dogs needs.

Rebecca provides a really well structured class that has helped give my fearful dog structure and confidence in herself. After just 6 classes in the intermediate course, me, and my family, have noticed great strides in the mental and physical health of my sweet girl. She's 5 years old and was so receptive to the training and Rebecca can tailor it to fit your dog's needs. I was even able to apply some of what I learned to my other 8-year old stubborn husky at home. So yes--you can teach "old" dogs new tricks! Both my dog, and I learned SO much and look forward to signing up for the advanced class.
