We pride ourselves on offering a true "home away from home" experience in which we provide unmatched individualized care and personalized training for your dog. We offer your fur baby a serene country acreage location with spacious exercise yards, climate controlled indoor kennels that are relaxed, clean, and comfortable right here in our very own backyard. We are veteran/family owned and operated with a wealth of canine knowledge and experience to provide results driven training and individualized care for your dog. We are a selective kennel requiring a 3 step dog/client intake process that helps us learn how to best care for your dog while you are away & make sure it is a good fit for all.

My husband & I adopted a blue heeler puppy and were in need of some guidance. We recently attended a dog psychology class at Legacy Canine which was very informative and a real eye-opener into the mind of a dog and how they think and what motivates them. They teach you how to handle their behaviors with positive reinforcement, while also implementing a needed "correction" (or consequence) to stop bad behavior from every happening again. After the class we realized most of the problems we were having we were causing ourselves by not knowing how to properly communicate with our dog. We plan to attend some one-on-one training classes for the basics... most important "Recall" which could be lifesaving in some situations. Their boarding facility is the cleanest and most organized we ever seen! John & Molly, the owners both have extensive backgrounds in dog training. They are very personable with their clients, and we are so grateful we found them!
Great Boarding and Training Facility! Molly and John and their staff are friendly, experienced and treats your pet like family. The facility is clean, safe, and welcoming. Our boy always comes home happy and relaxed. Whether you’re looking for a dog trainer or in need of boarding facility, I highly recommend Legacy Canine.
