Lee's Dog Training

I chose Lee for different reasons than most reviewers. I wanted to get a puppy but I also wanted to have a trained dog that could join our family wherever we went. I spoke to Lee via email before I chose him and decided that taking my puppy at 11 weeks would work. This is the best decision I could have done for my puppy. I have made both our lives better for it. Sailor was there for 10 days. Lee spent time with us when we picked her up to ensure we could adapt her training to our daily routines. The best way I can describe her now is a toddler that will listen when you give commands. She has her moments but she is honestly a great dog that we feel comfortable leaving off leash at our home. We have five dogs that neighbor us and my now 4 month old puppy can remain off leash as they come in and out with barking or leaving us. We can spend time working in the garage, taking her to 5K events and most recently to the Christmas Tree Farm. We do keep a lead on her in public. The no treat method is awesome. We work with her to ensure she isn't aggressive with food. She can have treats and other food but she get them in her dish. We can direct her to wait with peanut butter inches from her and she will not eat until she is released. We can have friends over for dinner without any begging. If she is overly excited the bed command does the trick to get her head right again. I know with Lee’s training Sailor is going to have the best life. She was even complemented by our Vet who then asked for Lee's name. I would totally recommend Lee if you want to start your dog off on the right foot as they join your family.

Lee is a serious blessing. Since I adopted our dogs, Lily and Ted, I have been warned about their behavior whenever we have children. Lee completely took that worry away when we met with him! Our dogs (esp Lily) used to jump and bombard guests when they came to the door. Now, only a month later, they wait patiently on their beds until released. They are much more relaxed and I’m not nervous to have people around! Lee is committed. From his videos to even having our dogs around his own young kids, he is amazing and we are so thankful for him.

We brought our Brittany Spaniel to Lee because we felt she was just too high energy, we could not relax, get her to listen to any commands or follow us. She was in control and we did not know what to do. Within a week, Lee was able to gain that control, teach her many commands, and was able to get her to understand that she is not the boss. He was then very helpful in teaching us how to have that control ourselves when we are home, and how to continue training as well as she advances. We were a little nervous to make such an investment but we have truly not regretted the decision to trust Lee with our dog’s training even once. We now have control over dog and aren’t nervous to have people over or take her places with us because we know she will listen to us and we have control over her, even when she is excited. She is still a loving, cuddly, and FUN dog who loves to play and run. We are just now able to do all of the fun activities without the stress and worry.

We sent our 1.5 year old lab, Jax, to Lee over the summer. It was easily the best decision we have made thus far with our pup. He had shown some signs of aggression, and we knew we had to get it under control quick. We did some research and ended up finding Lee, and the even bigger plus was we realized he was only 15 minutes away from us! Jax was treat trained and would listen sometimes, unless there was something he wanted more. He was extremely aggressive over food, but ended up expanding his aggression as he thought he was king of the house. Jax spent 12 days with Lee, and a few weeks later we had to go on vacation. With it being so soon after the initial training, Lee was willing to keep Jax while we were gone to help reinforce all the training. It has been 4 months since Lee's training, and we are proud to say we can confidently walk around our neighborhood off leash, plus many more things that I won't ramble with. Our dog's life is so much better now that he trusts us, and we can trust him. I would recommend Lee to anyone and everyone. He has a passion for this and the cost is well worth the investment. My wife and I have already said if and when we get another dog, they are going right to Lee for training.
