LECA

My family highly recommends LECA for overnight boarding. We came for the training classes, and stayed for the boarding. Unfortunately they are not right around the corner from us but we are willing to travel a bit extra to drop our dog off when we are going away because of the friendly staff, professional environment, and host of activities while we're away. Not many places offer the rotating schedule of play, training, and rest that LECA provides. Whitley runs into the facility when we get there because she's so excited. We can only hope that one day LECA will open a satellite site in northern Bergen County!

We had Neo in boarding for 9 days when we were traveling. Going into this Neo had been in boarding once in the last 3 years for a few days. Neo at home has buttons that he presses and we knew he liked going here because he has a button - LECA - that he used often. Couple of things I noticed (a) when Neo goes to any other day care - he feels exhausted, not refreshed. Coming back from LECA I know he had a good time - because the button gets pressed the very next day AND he is not exhausted (b) Neo tends to react to certain situations with over excitement - has physical symptoms (upset stomach) etc. when he is over stimulated. Coming back this time from boarding - he had none of that - which is absolutely great. (c) Our flight last week on Friday landed late and Max came back to LECA to allow us to get our boy off hours. Overall - could not recommend the more. I wish their location was closer to us as I have to drive 30 m each way (in no traffic), but they are worth it. The final test would be when Neo presses the LECA button to go back, it might take a couple of days this time around.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! It all started with the puppy socials. It was such a fun and safe way for my Milo to socialize and build some confidence early on. From day one, the staff was welcoming and very passionate about dogs. Since then, we’ve continued to bring Milo to LECA for the doggy daycare and 1-1 training sessions and I honestly couldn’t be happier. My dog absolutely loves it here and I feel at ease knowing he is such good hands. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, friendly and all around amazing place for your pup, this is it!
