Learn and Live Dog Training

I couldn’t be happier with the services Meagan provided for my dog Rebbie! Rebbie is a very nervous and an anxious dog and it got to the point we’re walking her on a leash just was not fun for either of us anymore. Everything seemed to scare her and she would react to anything that moved past. Meagan is very kind and sweet with your fur baby. She gives very thorough updates twice a week and sends videos and pictures. She also provides training for you with your dog, which I found very helpful. She is communicative and open for me to ask her any questions whenever I need to. My dog can now sit happily with me in a public place without needing to be on high alert at all times! I am very pleased. Would definitely recommend this service to anyone looking for a caring trainer for their pup. ❤️ oh! One more thing… My dog is 6 years old and I thought that maybe she was too old to be able to be trained. But I was wrong! Older dogs can learn new tricks!🤗

Lydia has truly changed our entire family’s life. Ace entered training as an insecure, anxious, anticipatory dog. After 4 weeks of training with Lydia, he has completely transformed. Ace still has his adorable, silly personality but is now equipped with the tools to listen and live a happier, more fulfilled life as a result. She also gave our family the tools to maintain Ace’s progress at home in a concise and organized way. We could not recommend Lydia more!

We came to Meagan after using several other obedience trainers in Charlotte. Meagan absolutely transformed Kermit, our dog reactive pup, and we are now able to go on walks and go to parks with no concern. Meagan has come to our house and helped us with in-home routines, and has met us out and about to show us hands-on how to work with Kermit in different environments. The biggest impact we have seen so far is how chill our other dog (Pudge) has been, as a result. Kermit’s calm demeanor has helped Pudge to be calm as well. It’s made our lives so much less stressful knowing that both of the dogs aren’t on edge. We plan to have Meagan train Pudge soon (he has happy excitement reactivity) since she was somehow able to re-wire Kermit’s brain to not freak out 24/7. I can see the quality of life increasing for both dogs as a result of Meagan’s work. I am always a bit hesitant to leave my dogs with anyone else, but now when Kermit sees Meagan, he tries to follow and go back home with her! It’s so great to see that he truly enjoyed his time staying and working with her. Our only regret is not having Meagan take our dogs sooner! It’s truly been a game changer for us. We 100% recommend Meagan as a one stop shop to anyone who needs anything from basic obedience to reactivity help!

We utilized Megan and Lydia‘s training services for our dog Phoebe. We had major concerns over resource guarding, aggression towards our other dogs and towards our family members. We had several incidents of dog fights in the home and her biting our family members. We had just welcomed our newborn son home as well, so there were a lot of changes for Phoebe Back in October. And with her behavior escalating. We were at a loss for how we could help our dog Phoebe and give her the life she deserves. we really wanted to give her a chance and That’s how we found Megan and Lydia We contacted them and within a couple hours they had reached back out to us, And asked us questions on Phoebe and what our goals were for her. The conversation was very personable. We felt relief that someone was understanding our situation and giving us hope that we could help our dog. The following week we met with both Lydia and Megan and they did their assessment on Phoebe. We ended up moving forward with the Four week in-home training with Megan. Phoebe received individualized attention in training every single day for four weeks Megan worked on resource, guarding, aggression control, Confidence building, and behavior modification with Phoebe. We received biweekly updates via text and emails and had absolutely no doubt that our dog was in the best hands and the most capable hands. When we received Phoebe back after four weeks We felt safe with her around our newborn son and around our other dogs. Megan worked very closely with us to go over her commands and training. We have had Phoebe back home since December and have not had any incidents of her biting anyone or biting our Other dogs. We’ve had several family members come over and comment On how well Phoebe is behaving. The training Phoebe and us received has been life-changing .

He came back from his time with her with the same wild spirit, but behaving in a way that we did not think was possible. We can now go on walks with our kids on bikes and he walks calmly next to us without chasing or barking at them. His “crate manners“ are astonishing and consistent. It used to be a battle every morning just to get him in there and leave the house. The daily videos were also such a treat. Even though he was away from the family for a while, we still felt like he was close and we knew he was in great hands. We would all watch the videos and cheer together as we saw Winnie’s amazing improvement. When it was time for him to return home, we felt prepared because in each video she talked through what she was doing and why. This is a remarkable woman doing amazing work.
