Should I send my dog away to a trainer or learn to train myself?
The best trainer for your dog is you. Honestly, it's never just a dog issue, when you are experiencing obedience, behavior and manners issues. Your dog needs to view you as it's leader, or a better word would be mentor. Building a trusting bond involves having the right tools and techniques to help your dog become a really successful dog. When you send your dog away, you're giving away that bonding opportunity and the dog doesn't learn to obey you. The best way to earn your dogs trust and respect is training your own dog, using kind, patient, and effective techniques. We never use pinch, choke or shock collars.

How much does this usually cost to bring in a puppy who is agressive with his siblings?
First, we do not take in dogs for training - we teach you, the owner, very effective techniques to help you solve the issue. Our techniques have remained successful with behavior issues since 2007! We can set him up for success if we start before the issue becomes serious. If the puppy is already at your home, call as soon as possible to set up training.

Wendy Blanche is an extraordinary dog trainer. I selected her to train my young Mini Goldendoodle, Sadie Rose, to be a Good Canine Citizen with the intent of her being able to visit hospitals, schools and other places where she would bring the joy she brings me. Sadie just passed the test. Wendy is LOVINGLY tough with both the dog and the owner. Her approach helps to strengthen the bond between owner and dog. Rewarding with praise and love when the task is well done. Gentle correction is how she teaches a puppy that it has not performed the task requested. She wants them to succeed and become the best partners they can be. She’s been training dogs since she was a young woman and it’s evident dogs are her passion. Even if Sadie never steps into a hospital, school or other environment as a therapy dog, she has become one of the most well-behaved dogs I’ve ever owned. I would highly recommend Wendy Blanche to train your dog (s).

Very good experience all round. Wendy was very helpful. She listened carefully and allowed us to talk. She never made us feel like we were wrong or dumb. Our dog was exhibiting aggressive behaviors towards delivery service providers. Wendy explained the whole situation from the dogs perspective and showed us how to modify our behaviors slightly to amazing effect. Two weeks later our dog knows where she fits into the 'pack' and doesn't exhibit the need to defend us 'to the death' against every tiny, perceived threat.

Wendy is the best!!! She made training so easy to practice. Our dog enjoyed it and he naturally started behaving better in most situations and he became excellent at following commands. He is a happier dog and is living his best life after working with Wendy!
