Unprofessional and VERY EXPENSIVE We rescued a 3 year old dog who was very aggressive and a huge problem in the household. Wendy was responsive and helpful through our initial call. During our training she offered great advice on how to deal with our pup, like how to walk with him, touch him, and give commands. Unfortunately, everything is still a work in progress, which is not Wendy’s fault, and we are hopeful that through Wendy’s tips we can see improvements in our dog’s behavior. We just need to be more confident and the rest will follow. While Wendy’s training was insightful, her attitude throughout was excruciatingly unprofessional. She is expensive, more expensive than most trainers but we were desperate. When we refused to upgrade to the Gold Package during our second and final training (which would be an additional $500+ to upgrade) I mentioned that I did not have the funds to pay for it. Which in this current economy who can blame me? Well, Wendy can, and she gave me a confused look as to why I would say such a thing. Later on in the training, Wendy approached me and said the most unprofessional thing I have ever heard in my life. Outside my house where all my neighbors can hear, she asked me where I work and what I do for a living. When I mentioned I am a teacher she responded by asking “they don’t pay you?”. I am appalled by the level of gall that Wendy has to ask me such a question when she knows nothing of my financial situation or my expenses. Clearly everyone has $500 extra to spend to pay for the gold upgrade when I could barely afford her training in the first place. I have seen other reviews on here that indicate that her rude demeanor and callousness is not an isolated incident. She is clearly money hungry, with the determination of a used car salesman, to grab every last dime and penny of her customers. But car salesmen act more professional than this.

I had a great experience with Wendy. She was very straightforward and direct, and went above and beyond by offering help outside of session times as well. Her guidance not only improved my dog's behavior but also helped me bond more deeply with my dog. I know that my own consistency and determination were key, but her expert advice made all the difference. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for effective and practical training.
