I can't recommend Mark enough! His expertise and dedication have been a game-changer for us and our dogs. When we first brought our rescue dog home 10 years ago, she had significant aggression issues, and we were at a loss for how to help her. Mark worked with us patiently, understanding her needs, and helping us build a strong, positive relationship with her. The transformation was incredible. Our second dog became a therapy dog under his guidance. Thanks to his training, he was able to visit schools and hospitals, bringing joy to so many people. Watching him thrive in those environments was a testament to Mark's ability to bring out the best in every dog. Now, we're working with a new “project” rescue dog who is fearful of many things in the world. Once again, Mark has been instrumental in helping us creating a safe space for him to grow. His approach is always thoughtful, calm, and focused on positive reinforcement. No matter the challenge, Mark has been there for us every step of the way. I had the pleasure of meeting with Mark on 10/21/24 with my 5.5 year old Rottweiler Kodi. Mark was amazing with everything he told me straight forward becoming the pack leader with me boy. I’ve had Rottweiler dogs over 30 years but I forgot the importance of setting up the boundaries of everything comes from me first. I found Mark after a very long, exhaustive search for a trainer that approached reactive dogs from a place of believing in them. We were exhausted, felt helpless and wanted to educate ourselves on how we can be better for our pup. Anyone with a reactive dog knows exactly how we felt. From our very first appointment with Mark, we knew we found our person. He was calm, light hearted, nonjudgemental, honest and real. Despite having dogs in our lives since kids, feeling well researched and thoughtful trainers ourselves, spending time with Mark opened our eyes and helped us understand our dogs that much better. I say ‘dogs’ because several years now after this day, we are a 3 pup family and we continue to take all our dogs to mark for regular check ins, training refreshes and boarding. I never I my wildest dreams though we would find a place to train and board our dogs that would accept them for who they are, approach them with compassion and hold us as their humans accountable for their success. We recently left Oregon for California and I coordinate our travel to be able to still leave our pups with Mark and team when needed. Because of this team we got our lives back, our dogs are happier and found balance in our house hold. Not to mention how much our dogs love Mark!! I can truly go on and on here on all the progress and positive change we have had in our family. We will be forever grateful for finding Mark & team and want to say, before you give up…please call Mark. Mark gave us some great training and techniques to discourage our golden retriever puppy from biting and nipping. She was overconfident and bratty, and clearly loved the taste of human flesh. Three days later, little Ruby (a.k.a. Rampage) is a different dog. Now she is a sweetheart most of the time. When she does start to throw a tantrum, she listens to the command and dials down quickly. Thanks, Mark! We love not bleeding.

We adopted a large dog from a shelter and had a substantial learning curve as to how to best care for him and better deal with some on-leash aggression to other dogs. Found Mark through online research and upon reading his many reviews, gained a strong sense he’d be a good fit for us, and that he was. Mark is an excellent communicator with an enjoyable teaching style; he’s fun and funny! He imparted a bunch of useful info on care and taught us how to think more confidently to help our dog become more confident in time also, rooted in our leadership capacity. We met for just a few sessions but gained a ton of insights. Can’t recommend this guy highly enough!
