I recently had my dog do the live in training program for three weeks at Mark's home. When I dropped Milo off at the space the assistant met me outside on the sidewalk (Mark was supposed to be there but he was not) I wanted to meet him and discuss my dogs needs and what type of routine he was going to be doing. I was town leaving for Thanksgiving and wouldn't be back for almost two weeks. Of course I wanted to see where he would be sleeping and the set up but I was not allowed or offered in. I was told this is his home and we do not allow people inside. Hmmmm I should have known then that something didn't feel right. It was raining and I had to stand outside on the side of the house in the cold with him. Over the next theee weeks I was sent a handful of photos and a few texts on his improvement. I left a message for Mark since I still hadn't spoken to him after almost two weeks of training. I was beginning to feel like I had been tricked into paying a lot of money so his assistant could train my dog. He called me back three days later and left a message. When I came to pick up my dog he was incredibly dirty. They didn't bath him the entire three weeks he smelled so bad I could barely hold him. He literally smelled like piss and vinegar. Again we stood on the side of the house in the cold to discuss his improvements and behavior. Mark charged my debit card the full amount when I already paid a 50% deposit. I had to wait three days to get my money back. Then I received two different emails telling me I still needed to pay the rest of my invoice. My dogs behavior seems more mellow but not much change with his aggression to dogs. Marks dog and my dog even got in a fight in front of me when I was there. I have to say after spending as much money as I did I will never recommend this company. Maybe his group classes are good and his one on one's but as far as live in training goes your basically paying for an expensive boarding house.
