Great experience for first time dog owner. I learned things about dogs and training them that I would never have known. My first dog is an English mastiff and I couldn't have made a better choice of breed. The class has made me a better dog owner and have a significant positive impact on our relationship. We graduated puppy school, which I wasn't convinced luna would be up to the task but she and I shined and impressed the instructors. We have since started Adult beginner classes and are already ahead of the other dogs that haven't done puppy training... im including myself as well as luna...the instructors test the owners on dog knowledge as well as the dog. I was the only one in the class that answered that dogs can learn 165 commands and other info I learned from the previous 6 weeks. The instructors are very knowledgeable and dedicated for the dog - owner relationship to be the best it can be. They are willing to stay after class and help with any issues you may be having and are very encouraging when an owner might be frustrated with the training progress. Training is on the owner as much as the dog. We plan to take additional classes and highly recommend this school. They could easily charge more for the 6 week program than they do and it would be worth the investment.
