Leader of the Pack Canine

My almost 11 month old Golden Weston is my first pup, so needless to say I needed more training then he did! AJ was very communicative, calm, confident and passes that along to both me and Weston! I had stopped trying to walk him due to such strong pulling, after 1 session we were walking in control and have not stopped!! Walks are now our favorite bonding time! AJ has taught me how to work through Weston’s puppy energy, work on his manners, greeting without jumping and impulse control! We have also worked through some fears Weston had and AJ knows exactly what to do! I highly recommend AJ and his methods! You and your pup will be so happy you hired him!!

Does a great job with training all types of dogs. Being a dog owner with 2 very different dogs, he has been super helpful. I have one reactive dog who is now basically not reactive after only a couple months of work. He does everything from leash traing to aggressive dog training and is always attentive to each dog's situation. He is really good with introducing practices that are healthy and getting dogs in line in a manner that is not harmful whatsoever.

We worked with AJ just shy of 2 months, and the progress we made was unbelievable. Howie and Frankie are just under 2 years old, both adopted from Almost Home Humane Society. We worked with them independently for about 8 months, and finally came to the conclusion that dog training can't always be DIYed. AJ started us with leash training, then we slowly began incorporating basic obedience. I have to say, I've always loved my dogs, but they're drastically unrecognizable and I didn't know it was possible to love them even more. AJ's ability to communicate and understand a dog's mentality is mind blowing. He was able to develop Howie and Frankie's confidence, but more importantly gave us the confidence and knowledge we need to be successful hoomans for our pups! Howie and Frankie wanted to add that while it took a while to get used to him, they will miss seeing their new best friend every week!

Anthony has helped us a great deal with our leash reactive dog. We used to struggle walking her as soon as another dog was approaching. Sometimes with very little build up, she would lunge/jump towards an approaching dog. After a couple of months of weekly sessions, the reactivity has almost entirely resolved, and our dog is a lot more focused on us during walks. Anthony uses a balanced approach to communicate with the dog what behaviors we want and what behaviors we do not. This seems to have improved our relationship with our dog as she now understands what is expected of her.
