Leader of the Pack Canine

AJ has been nothing but awesome in helping Luna. Luna was an adopted dog from Almost Home. She was super reactive around loud noises, humans, and dogs. She would lunge, bark, and it made taking her places very difficult. While she’s still got some room for improvement, she has come such a long way! I couldn’t be more grateful of AJ. He always does a great job explaining things and providing the tools you need to succeed. I would recommend him to anyone. He is very understanding and is all around a great guy.

Having such a great dog that has bad behaviors in public or with other people can feel so helpless and defeating. Because of AJ, we are on the right track after just a few weeks. Shortly after lessons with AJ started, so many people who knew my dog were saying how much more settled he seemed. Even the best dogs have so much to learn and we have found that to be true at Leader of the Pack. I look forward to every week because it is such a great way to bond with my dog! I can’t wait to see how much farther we can go under AJ’s instruction.

AJ has done incredible work with our boxer puppy Gator and his obedience training. Even after the first session with him, we noticed a drastic improvement to his behavior and listening skills. Gator enjoys going to his classes and always has lots of fun working with him. AJ uses a combination of positive reinforcement and play to quickly get your dog to learn what is right from wrong, motivating them to want to listen. It is not only "sit" and "down" that you will learn with classes from AJ but how to get your dog to actually apply those commands in real life situations with distractions such as around other dogs, random noises, and so much more. He is very creative in his lessons and is always available when you have questions about your dogs behavior. His check-ins are very beneficial so that training can help to address any unwanted behaviors you are noticing in your pet. We highly recommend training with AJ for any of your pups needs!
