do you have any recomendations for trainers who can help w bigger dogs from the shelter? trying to get them leash trained and basic manners so they can get adopted. some of them have been there too long! Please if you know of any
Hello, thank you for the message. We train all sizes. At this time we don’t have the personnel to train pro bono to help dogs get adopted. With that said we donate and support the Delaware Humane Society on a monthly basis. It is a goal of our company to help train dogs in the shelters to help get adopted but we are just not there yet. Recently a german shepard was added to our home. She is 4 years old and great with people. She has attacked one of our other dogs unprovoked 3 times. Will Training get her to stop? The other dog is much smaller and I don't want her hurt.

The staff are always professional and have such passion and dedication for all the pups in their care. We have had zero issues over many years and ALWAYS pick up clean happy dogs! A huge peace of mind for a dog owner ☺️
Just got back from the adult Dog Training and it was a spectacular experience. The place and people at Lead the Way are all top notch. We can tell our Kodi was cared for and happy on her learning trip. The facilies were immaculate and the trainers were very helpful training us to be the next trainers. Would recommend enthusiastically! Will likely board in the future.

He listens, follow commands, and is so much calmer and more confident. The staff and trainers are amazing - super knowledgeable and clearly love what they do. From that point on, I was so happy to have such a great experience and excited to have a place that I completely trust to care for my pup! It is truly his happy place. I love the updates and pictures. I also love following them on Instagram for the extra chance of seeing other pictures while I’m away. Thank you for all you do!
10/10. Couldn't recommend this place enough ! We brought our dog Doug here over the summer and Josh was absolutely amazing! We were sent multiple pictures of Doug's vacation while we were on our vacation and he had just as good of a time as we did!
